Description
A wall of Daruma dolls situated in a remote area of Japan.
These dolls are souvenirs, or amulets even.
When you gift or receive one, it originally has white eyes.
The idea is to wish for something, set a specific goal.
Then you color the first eye.
As soon as you’ve achieved your specific goal,
you may color the second eye,
and return the doll to the temple,
adding it to this wall.
LUSTRE VS MATTE
Lustre – between a gloss and matte finish. Recommended for most display scenarios as it has vibrant colours and clear details.
Matte – Museum-quality matte paper print is giclée-printed on archival, acid-free paper. Recommended for rooms which receive a lot of light to minimise reflections on the print. The matte finish is higher contrast and has deeper blacks for a bolder look.
